Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Retail Sales Manager to lead a high-performing store team, drive strong sales, and deliver an engaging customer experience. You will oversee front-end operations, POS usage, and omni-channel services while coaching staff to achieve KPIs.

Responsibilities include mastering SOPs, promoting loyalty programs, and coordinating in-store events such as balloons and Knit & Sew Shop activities, all within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs for compliance.
• Model customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion.
• Provide MOD coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Ensure effective use of POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions.
• Oversee in-store programs and events, like balloons and birthday parties.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention and repeat visits.
• Drive omni-channel service with accurate BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Support framing operations and Knit & Sew Shop as needed.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and coaching.
