Job summary

Michaels in Asheville, NC is seeking a Sales Manager who will lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, driving sales, service and brand standards. You’ll oversee front-end and service operations, coach the team, and ensure consistent customer experience.

You will manage day-to-day execution, POS and self-checkout, omni-channel fulfillment (BOPIS / Same Day Delivery), and partner in loyalty programs, protection plans, and in-store events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead a diverse team and drive sales KPIs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.
• Oversee front-end and service operations, maintain store conditions and results.
• Coach and develop team to model Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and continuity.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout, support transactions and customer support.
• Drive loyalty program adoption and in-store events, and oversee in-store programs.
