Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Southington, CT is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, drive strong sales results, and deliver an engaging customer experience.

You will coach front-end teams, ensure SOPs and brand standards, manage POS and Self-Checkout, support omni-channel services (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery), and promote loyalty programs plus protection plan offerings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Lead and coach Customer Experience and selling behaviors.
• Provide MOD coverage and floor leadership.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout.
• Oversee balloons, birthday parties and in-store programs.
