Job summary

The Michaels Mansfield, CT store is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the floor, drive sales results, and deliver an engaging customer experience. You will oversee front-end and service operations, enforce brand standards, and model selling behaviors.

You’ll coach teammates, provide MOD coverage, manage POS and Self-Checkout, oversee programs like Loyal Rewards and protection plans, and drive omni-channel services including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience with POS and Self-Checkout systems.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion a high-performing selling culture across the store.
• Drive strong sales results and an engaging customer experience.
• Oversee front-end and service operations to ensure brand standards and SOP compliance.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and floor leadership.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions.
• Oversee in-store programs (Loyalty Rewards, MCC/Extend) and omni-channel services (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
• Coach and develop team members through structured onboarding and ongoing training.
