Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager in Memphis to lead selling culture, drive strong sales results, and deliver an engaging customer experience. The role oversees front-end operations, POS usage, and in-store programs while coaching team members to uphold brand standards and SOPs.

You will drive loyalty enrollment, manage omni-channel services, and ensure effective day-to-day execution with MOD coverage in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Strong focus on customer experience and selling behaviors.
• Ability to coach and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and model SOPs and company programs to ensure legal compliance and store standards.
• Coach and develop team to deliver exceptional customer service and meet KPIs.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions.
• Promote loyalty programs and drive customer retention and repeat visits.
• Oversee in-store programs and events (Balloons, Knit & Sew Shop, etc.).
• Drive omni-channel fulfillment including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
