The Michaels Companies in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Sales Manager PT to lead a high-performing store team, drive sales, and ensure an engaging customer experience across front-end and service operations.

You will coach staff on selling behaviors, execute SOPs, oversee POS, BOPIS, and in-store programs, and support leadership coverage as MOD. This role requires 3+ years of retail leadership, flexibility for nights/weekends, and a commitment to brand standards and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, uphold store conditions and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations for smooth transactions.
• Manage in-store programs and events (Loyality, MCC/Extend, Knit & Sew Shop operations).
• Drive omni-channel service including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
