Job summary

The Sales Manager at Michaels Knoxville leads a high-performing selling culture and delivers an engaging customer experience across the store. You will drive sales, oversee front-end and service operations, and coach team members to execute brand standards and standards for omni-channel service.

As a key leader, you will support MOD coverage, optimize POS usage, and promote loyalty programs while managing in-store programs such as Balloons, Knit & Sew Shop, and annual events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion a high-performing selling culture across the store, driving strong sales results and an engaging customer experience.
• Oversee front-end and service operations, ensuring consistent execution of selling behaviors and brand standards.
• Coach and develop team members through structured onboarding and ongoing skill-building across departments.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership, service standards and operational continuity.
