Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing store team in Knox-Maryville, TN, driving sales results and an engaging customer experience. Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience coaching and developing store teams.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure policy and standard adherence and accountability for store conditions and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage ensuring floor leadership and service standards.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems for transactions and support.
• Oversee in-store programs and events (Balloons, birthday parties).
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention and visits.
• Drive services like MCC/Extend protection plans.
• Lead Knit & Sew Shop operations including Cut Bar experience.
