Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager in Charlotte to lead a high-performing store team and drive strong sales and customer experiences. You will oversee front-end and service operations, coach staff, and ensure execution of brand standards and SOPs.

Responsibilities include managing POS usage, loyalty programs, in-store events, and omni-channel services such as BOPIS and Same Day Delivery, with a focus on developing teams and delivering results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Strong customer experience coaching and team development.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Lead adherence to SOPs and company programs, ensuring compliance with laws.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide MOD coverage, maintain floor leadership and operational continuity.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions.
• Oversee events and in-store programs (Loyalty, MCC/Extend services).
• Drive omni-channel service including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
