Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager at the Hart-Southington store to lead selling culture and drive strong sales results. You will oversee front-end operations, customer experience, and daily execution of brand standards.

The role focuses on coaching teams, managing MOD coverage, and ensuring efficient omni-channel service, including BOPIS and delivery options. Nights, weekends, and early mornings are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards and accountability.
• Coach customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout for smooth transactions.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards and drive customer retention.
• Drive omni-channel services like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
