Job summary

Michaels Store - S.DG-MIRA MESA, CA is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, driving strong sales results and an engaging customer experience. You will oversee front-end and service operations, ensuring consistent execution of selling behaviors, brand standards, and operational expectations.

You will coach and develop the team, manage MOD coverage, and drive omni-channel services including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead front-end and service operations.
• Strong customer-focused coaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure adherence to policies and brand standards.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and floor leadership.
• Ensure effective use of POS and Self-Checkout systems.
• Oversee in-store programs and events (Balloons, Knit & Sew Shop, etc.).
• Promote Loyalty Rewards and protection plans.
• Drive omni-channel services like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner in Asset Protection and shrink reduction.
