Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Acworth, GA is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture storewide, driving sales results and an engaging customer experience. You will oversee front-end and service operations, ensuring brand standards and SOPs are consistently executed.

You will coach the team, provide MOD coverage, optimize POS and Self-Checkout use, and push the loyalty program to boost retention and omni-channel fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead front-end and service operations and coach staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and store leadership.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems.
• Oversee events and in-store programs (Balloons, Knit & Sew Shop, etc.).
• Drive loyalty program enrollment and omni-channel fulfillment.
• Support Asset Protection and safe operations.
