Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. operates Michaels stores and is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the Waynesboro store. You will direct front-end and service operations, coach staff on selling behaviors, and ensure brand standards and operational expectations are met.

You will drive KPI achievement, support customer-focused coaching, and manage day-to-day execution to deliver exceptional shopping experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end and service operations to ensure brand standards and selling behaviors.
• Coach team to deliver exceptional customer experience and higher conversion.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining store leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations for smooth transactions.
• Drive omni-channel execution including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards and MCC/Extend protection offerings.
• Train and develop team across departments to raise performance.
• Maintain strong Asset Protection practices and shrink reduction.
