Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager for KC-LEE'S SUMMIT, MO to lead a high-performing selling culture, drive sales, and ensure an engaging customer experience across front-end and service operations. You will coach the team, manage POS and Self-Checkout, and promote Loyalty Rewards, BOPIS, and Same Day Delivery.

In this role you will support the Knit & Sew Shop and framing-related services while ensuring safety and operational excellence, with work hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to coach and develop store team.
• Experience with POS and Self-Checkout systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive a high-performing selling culture across the store.
• Oversee front-end and service operations, maintaining brand standards and SOPs.
• Coach customer-experience and selling behaviors to improve conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and floor leadership.
• Drive Loyalty Rewards enrollment and customer retention strategies.
• Support Knit & Sew Shop, BOPIS and Same Day Delivery operations.
