The Michaels Companies Inc. in Fenton, MO is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing retail team, drive sales results, and deliver an engaging customer experience across front-end and service operations.

You will coach staff on SOPs, loyalty programs, omni-channel services (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery), and in-store programs (Balloons, Knit & Sew Shop, framing). Must have 3+ years retail leadership and be comfortable with POS systems; nights, weekends, and early mornings required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and SOP adherence
• Coach customer experience and selling behaviors
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain service standards
• Ensure effective use of POS and Self-Checkout systems
• Oversee in-store programs (Balloons, birthday parties) and loyalty enrollment
• Promote MCC/Extend services and protection plans
• Drive Knit & Sew Shop sales and Cut Bar oversight
• Execute BOPIS and Same Day Delivery efficiently
• Support Custom Framing operations and consultations
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing coaching
• Uphold asset protection and shrink reduction
