Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is hiring for a Store Operations Associate. The role centers on delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean, safe facility, and supporting daily store operations within a district.

You will interact with customers, assist with leasing, payments, and sales, and help maintain the property to company standards. The position requires a positive, outgoing attitude, ability to work Saturdays, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our POS, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls regarding late payments.
• Daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the store grounds, opening and closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs).
• Maintaining a clean facility to ensure conditions meet company guidelines (neat restrooms, landscaping, parking areas, and decluttered office space).
