Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to join our team. You will manage daily store tasks, assist customers, rent storage units, process payments with our POS system, and help maintain the property for a safe, welcoming facility.

The role emphasizes friendly service, reliability, and teamwork, with daytime hours and potential Sundays off in some locations. Candidates must be able to work Saturdays and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• While performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
• Some locations may require Sunday hours.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our POS, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
