Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a customer-focused team member to manage stores within the district, delivering excellent service and handling leasing, payments, and daily operations.

The role requires face-to-face customer interactions, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as walking the property and opening/closing doors. Weekend availability and a valid driver’s license are necessary.

Qualifications

• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability and willingness to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• You may be required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments via POS, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and store grounds, opening and closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs).
• Maintaining the facility including mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning storage units, and similar tasks.
• Keeping a clean and safe storage facility meeting company guidelines.
