Job summary

Wawa, Inc. seeks an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead daily store operations, develop the team and drive profitability. You’ll oversee Customer Service Associates, hiring, training, coaching, and performance management while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You’ll monitor performance, manage schedules, and partner with peers to identify opportunities for improvement, while delivering a friendly, high‑quality Wawa experience for guests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Flexible availability to work weekends/holidays.
• Proven leadership in food service or retail is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of store operations, staffing, training, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations and drive results.
• Hire, onboard, coach, and develop Customer Service Associates.
• Monitor performance, reviews, and shrink to identify improvements.
• Coordinate schedules and daily tasks to ensure smooth operations.
• Analyze reports and partner with peers to implement action plans.
