Job summary

Wawa, Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead daily operations, develop teams, and drive results. You will supervise Customer Service Associates, lead hiring and training, and ensure safe, high-quality store performance.

You will oversee scheduling, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with peers to implement action plans that improve profitability and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Flexible availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Proven leadership experience in food service or retail a plus.
• Strong background in store operations: staffing, training, performance, sales, scheduling, and expense control.
• Ability to implement change and drive results through effective execution.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure profitable performance.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, coaching, and development of Customer Service Associates.
• Coordinate scheduling and tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
• Monitor store performance, review reports, manage shrink and identify improvement opportunities.
