Job summary

Wawa, Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead daily operations, coach Customer Service Associates, and drive store profitability. You will hire, train, and grow the team while maintaining safety, quality, and customer experience standards.

As a hands‑on leader, you’ll monitor performance, analyze trends, and implement action plans with peers to optimize results. The role includes coordinating schedules and ensuring a smooth, friendly store environment for customers.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in retail or food service.
• Strong background in store operations including staffing, training, performance management, scheduling and expense control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and drive store performance and profitability.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, coaching, and development of Customer Service Associates.
• Coordinate schedules and daily tasks to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor reports and identify opportunities to improve shrink, performance, and customer experience.
• Collaborate with peers to develop action plans that deliver results.
