Job summary

Wawa, Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead daily store operations and drive profitability. You will recruit, train, and develop Customer Service Associates, oversee scheduling, and ensure high standards of service and safety.

You will analyze performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborate with peers to implement action plans that boost results while maintaining a friendly, welcoming Wawa experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience, ideally in food service or retail environments.
• Strong background in store operations: staffing, training, performance management, sales building, scheduling, and expense control.
• Ability to implement change and drive results through effective execution.
• Excellent communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and drive store performance.
• Hire, train, and develop Customer Service Associates; coach and motivate team.
• Monitor performance using reports; manage shrink and identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate schedules and daily tasks to ensure efficient operations.
• Gather customer feedback and resolve issues to ensure a positive Wawa experience.
