Job summary

Wawa, Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead daily store operations, develop teams, and drive profitability. You will oversee performance, hiring, training, and growth of Customer Service Associates to ensure a top-notch customer experience.

In this hands-on role you will monitor performance, coach staff, manage schedules, and collaborate with peers to implement improvements while upholding safety, quality and operational standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Proven leadership experience in retail or food service is a plus.
• Strong background in staffing, training, performance management, sales building, scheduling, and expense control.
• Excellent communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer experience, gather feedback, solve problems.
• Lead training for Customer Service Associates to meet safety and quality standards.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, coaching and recognition.
• Coordinate schedules and daily tasks to keep operations efficient.
• Monitor store performance, shrink, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with peers to develop action plans that drive results.
