Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking an Operations Service Manager in California to lead Customer Service and Cashier teams, oversee store operations and receiving functions, and ensure exceptional customer service. You will also role-model leadership as MOD and support staffing, training and succession planning, while collaborating with district and regional leadership.

The role requires 3+ years in retail management, a flexible schedule, and the ability to lift 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience in a large retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, driving compliance to company policies and standards, safekeeping of funds and inventory.
• Provide guidance to Customer Service Supervisors to ensure customer flow and service levels at registers.
• Manage the execution of store operations and receiving SOPS.
• Oversee the receiving process including transfers, debits, damages, and chargebacks; coordinate with Receiving Supervisor to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) to model leadership and drive store results.
• Support Store Manager with staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training and succession planning.
• Assist in managing other store operations areas as needed.
• Communicate effectively with District and Regional Management teams.
