Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking an Operations Service Manager to lead Customer Service and Cashier teams, ensuring policy compliance, safe handling of funds, and high standards of service. You will manage store operations and the receiving process, partnering with supervisors to keep inventory accurate and workflows efficient.

You will also serve as Manager on Duty, guiding staff across schedules, training, and succession planning, while communicating with district and regional leaders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience at an Off Price, Big Box, Specialty or multi-unit retail organization.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, driving compliance to company policies and standards, safekeeping of funds, asset protection and accurate records.
• Provide guidance to Customer Service Supervisors to ensure smooth customer flow at registers.
• Oversee the receiving process and SOPs, and maintain inventory accuracy with the Receiving Supervisor.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) to model leadership and drive store results.
• Support the Store Manager in staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning.
• Communicate effectively with District and Regional Management teams.
