Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an Operations Service Manager to lead store operations and coach cashiers and customer service supervisors while upholding the company’s core values.

You’ll oversee operations to ensure the highest level of customer service and professionalism across the store. You will manage receiving, staffing, and training, and you’ll partner with district and regional teams to drive results and maintain inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail management or store operations experience.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs and to use scheduling/reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, driving compliance to company policies, safekeeping of funds, asset protection, sales and record keeping.
• Provide guidance to the Customer Service Supervisors to ensure customer service expectations and smooth flow at registers.
• Manage the overall execution of operations and receiving SOPs.
• Lead the receiving process including transfers, debits, damages, and chargebacks and partner with the Receiving Supervisor to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD) to set leadership example for customers, associates and drive store results.
• Support the Store Manager in staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning.
• Assist in managing other store operations areas as needed.
• Communicate effectively with District and Regional Management teams.
