Job summary

SKIMS is seeking an Assistant Store Leader to partner with the Store Leader in ensuring operational excellence and delivering exceptional customer service in a high-volume retail environment.

You will drive daily operations, oversee back-of-house functions, and coach a team to meet brand standards and inventory goals while advancing your leadership skills within our fashion-focused brand.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in a retail leadership or operations-focused role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory systems, shipment handling, and fast-paced retail operations.
• Customer service mindset with ability to resolve issues promptly.
• Excellent communication and leadership under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support daily business operations with a focus on Operational Excellence.
• Oversee Back of House operations, including shipment handling and inventory accuracy.
• Manage replenishment, size integrity, and product availability with real-time problem solving.
• Own damage processing, returns, and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain store supplies, equipment, and technology, reporting service requests promptly.
• Train the team on safety, policies, and loss prevention; lead in high-traffic moments.
• Lead floor operations during peak hours and model customer-focused service.
• Coach the team on product knowledge and visual standards for on-brand layout.
• Use store data and KPIs to drive inventory excellence and stock optimization.
• Communicate feedback on allocation and product flow with Store Leader and HQ.
