Job summary

SKIMS is seeking an Assistant Store Leader to work with the Store Leader to ensure operational excellence, drive results, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will oversee back-of-house operations, inventory integrity, replenishment, and training on brand standards, while maintaining floor leadership during peak hours and ensuring a warm, inclusive customer experience.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a retail leadership or operations-focused role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory systems and shipment handling in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong customer service principles and ability to provide exceptional service to all customers.
• Ability to stand and move around all areas of the store for 100% of the shift, including heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Support daily business operations with a focus on operational excellence and consistency.
• Oversee Back of House operations, inventory accuracy, and back room/offsite organization.
• Manage replenishment, size integrity, and product availability, coordinating with leadership on real-time solutions.
• Own damage processing and returns, ensuring inventory accuracy with an emphasis on efficiency.
• Train the team on operational policies, safety, and loss prevention.
• Lead floor presence during peak hours, modeling customer-obsessed behaviors and brand standards.
• Coach the team on product knowledge, fit, and visual standards for on-brand presentation.
• Use store reporting tools to support inventory excellence and KPI attainment.
• Communicate with Store Leader and HQ on allocation, product flow, and customer data.
