Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. in Exton, PA is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a defined area of the store and assist with overall store operations when acting as Manager on Duty.

You will supervise associates, ensure safe, clean, and well-merchandised environments, and execute company processes to support a great customer experience. You will handle opening/closing, supervise staff, enforce safety, and drive compliance with merchandising standards and loss prevention programs.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment.
• Open and close the store; supervise Associates.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and store cleanliness.
• Lead front-end operations to minimize wait times.
• Receive and process merchandise and manage stockrooms.
• Support loss prevention and brand integrity.
