Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. seeks an Area Supervisor to lead a defined area of the store and assist in general operations when acting as Manager on Duty.

You will open/close the store, supervise associates, ensure a friendly, easy-to-shop environment, and maintain proper merchandise presentation and cleanliness. You will execute company processes, uphold safety and loss prevention standards, and mentor staff to deliver excellent customer service while supporting front-end operations and stockroom duties

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and fluent English.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure store environment and reports issues.
• Delivers strong customer service and professional conduct.
• Performs front-end supervision and cashier-related processes.
• Manages stockroom, merchandising, and back stock to company standards.
• Supports loss prevention and cash handling procedures.
• Assists in daily administrative tasks as needed by Store Manager.
