Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a store's operations under the Store Leadership team, including opening/closing, supervising Associates and maintaining a welcoming, well-merchandised environment.

You will drive safety, customer service and loss prevention, oversee front-end operations, merchandising, stockrooms, and administrative duties while coaching talent, ensuring policy compliance, and delivering a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store as assigned, supervise Associates, and maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and a clean work area at all times.
• Assist with front-end supervision and cashier operations to meet efficiency standards.
• Support loss prevention practices and maintain security of the sales floor and stockrooms.
