Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a specific store area and assist Store Leadership with daily operations. You will open/close the store, supervise Associates, ensure proper presentation, and maintain a clean, inviting shopping environment.

You will also execute and supervise company processes, support loss prevention, and lead Front End and merchandising activities to keep the store secure and productive. This role requires reliability and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe and secure sales floor environment and responds to unsafe conditions.
• Treats customers, associates and leaders with respect and professionalism.
• Represents the Ross brand and maintains professional appearance.
• Keeps store clean, merchandised to standard and manages daily trash removal.
• Manages merchandising, back stock, floor moves and promotional signing as needed.
• Executes payroll administration and frontline operations when required.
