ALDI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support day-to-day store operations in a full-time role. You will help supervise staff, manage schedules, and drive store performance while developing the team through training opportunities.

The position offers a starting wage of $27.00 per hour with a wage increase to $28.00 in year two. Must be able to work with or without reasonable accommodation, and align with company policies and security protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Meets state alcohol handling requirements where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance employee performance.
• Model company values to foster teamwork and engagement.
• Monitor competitive environment and advise on changes to maintain competitiveness.
• Provide product feedback and recommendations on new or discontinued items.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel.
• Ensure adherence to inventory, product handling, and cash control policies.
