Job summary

ALDI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help supervise day-to-day store activities, manage schedules, and develop operational action plans. You will identify training opportunities to develop the team and help achieve overall store performance.

The role involves duties spanning supervising staff, inventory, customer service, and adherence to company policies. Starting wage is $27.00 per hour with a wage increase to $28.00 in Year 2. Full-time employees receive comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities to boost performance and growth of the team.
• Model ALDI core values to foster teamwork and service excellence.
• Monitor competitive environment and advise adjustments to maintain store position.
• Provide product feedback and recommendations on items to carry or discontinue.
