ALDI is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to supervise daily store operations, manage schedules, and develop action plans to improve performance. You will identify training opportunities to grow the team, ensure customer service excellence, and uphold store standards.

The position is full-time with a 38-hour work week and starting wage of $27.50 per hour, with a wage increase to $28.50 per hour in Year 2. Health and retirement benefits are included for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in a retail environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior management experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervising day-to-day store activities and running store operations
• Develop and implement action plans to improve operating results
• Manage schedules and payroll within budget and policy
• Identify training opportunities to develop the team
• Maintain store cleanliness, signage, and product presentation
• Ensure customer service standards and issue resolution
• Participate in interviewing store personnel
• Monitor inventory and ordering to maintain stock levels
• Adhere to company policies and cash handling procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety and wage and hour regulations
