Job summary

ALDI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help supervise daily store activities, manage schedules, and develop actionable plans to improve performance. You will identify training needs to develop the team and ensure excellent customer service while upholding company policies and safety standards.

Starting wage is $25.50 per hour with a planned increase to $26.50 per hour in Year 2. This is a full-time, 38-hour work week role with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• You must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at ALDI.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Lead others to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for direct reports.
• Identify training and development opportunities for team members.
• Supervise day-to-day store operations and payroll/expense goals.
• Ensure inventory procedures, product handling, and cash controls are followed.
• Monitor store standards, safety, and equipment maintenance.
• Participate in interviewing and onboarding of store personnel.
• Communicate weekly information, milestones, and concerns to leadership.
