Job summary

ALDI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, supervise the team, manage schedules, and develop actionable plans to improve performance while upholding ALDI's standards and values.

You will help with training, hiring, and evaluating staff, ensure inventory accuracy, cash control, and exceptional customer service. The position is full-time with competitive wages ($26.00 per hour starting, increasing to $27.00 per hour in Year 2) and benefits.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older required.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive retail experience.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a cash register and understand budgeting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance performance.
• Maintain store cleanliness and signage; ensure store standards.
• Assist with stock levels and product ordering.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel.
