Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training and development opportunities for direct reports.
• Model company core values to build teamwork and engagement.
• Monitor competitive environment and advise adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
• Provide product feedback on items to carry or discontinue.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel.
• Communicate weekly updates and major milestones to the team.
• Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and cash controls to minimize losses.
• Resolve customer concerns in the absence of the direct leader.
• Identify hazards and maintain store equipment in good condition.
• Maintain store cleanliness and signage at all times.
• Assist with stock levels and merchandise ordering.
• Merchandise products neatly to maximize sales.
• Ensure product quality and accurate signage.
