Job summary

Five Below is seeking an early-career manager to lead store teams and ensure exceptional guest service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will supervise daily operations, assist with receiving and stocking, and act as Manager on Duty when needed.

The role emphasizes training, supervising associates, and driving sales while maintaining a safe, clean store. A high school diploma and at least one year of supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred as additional qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew members wow customers through personal contact.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates to ensure service quality.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking and stocking on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff management.
• Manages opening/closing procedures, cash/security, and alarms.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and staffing.
• Collaborates with store leadership on merchandising and procedures.
• Performs maintenance such as cleaning, stocking, and floor upkeep.
