Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, motivate the team, and deliver the WOW customer experience in a fast-paced retail setting. You will oversee crew performance, manage opening/closing duties, and ensure high standards of service, merchandising, and store maintenance.

The role requires a High School diploma, college experience preferred, and at least 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Opens or closes the store, secures cash, locks doors, sets alarms, and ensures smooth daily operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partners with store leadership in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance including garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and stock room upkeep.
