Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking an Operations Lead for a part-time role to support store processes and maintain company standards that drive sales.

The OL handles opening, closing, training, and task delegation while upholding safety and ethics in a warehouse-format store. Responsibilities include coordinating with the Assistant Store Manager to optimize staffing, manage daily tasks, and ensure inventory control, customer experience, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent.
• Background Check will be completed.
• Clear and concise communication with excellent verbal and written skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs. as well as to move merchandise around the warehouse-format store.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
• Ability to bend, climb, and reach at times. Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Open, close, and Front-End processes with accurate execution and operational readiness.
• Coordinate with the Assistant Store Manager to maximize staffing and align with labor models and customer standards.
• Plan and assign daily/weekly zone workload to achieve store, department, and sales goals and guest engagement.
• Support store team in customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, and loss prevention for profitability.
• Drive productivity through training, coaching, planning, monitoring, and appraising results.
• Communicate and train topics to support the customer experience during daily interactions and team huddles.
• Handle freight processes for incoming freight and transitions; stock products, maintain neatness and organization.
• Perform all other duties as assigned; maintain availability nights and weekends.
