Goodwill Industries of Delaware & Delaware County, Inc. seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and support the Store Manager, with open availability. This role drives sales, ensures safety compliance, and supports job training initiatives within the community.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business/retail management or 1–3 years supervisory retail experience.
• Experience supervising teams and supporting retail sales/store operations.
• Experience executing operational strategies and achieving performance goals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to interact with all staff levels.
• Ability to work in a diverse, rapidly changing environment.
• Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays; valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day store operations and cover Store Manager duties as needed.
• Drive sales, revenue, and production goals; monitor weekly KPIs.
• Complete incident reports within 24 hours; maintain store audit scores.
• Maintain wage-to-revenue ratio and staffing at 90% of goals.
• Interview candidates and assist in staffing; report progress to Store Manager.
• Manage POS functions, cash handling, and inventory control.
• Produce daily sales, donations, and production reports with accuracy.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and build relationships with customers and partners.
• Enforce company policies; train new team members in production and cashiering.
• Protect assets through loss prevention and security best practices.
• Support store events, community initiatives, and required trainings.
