Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Delaware & Delaware County, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to oversee sales floor and backroom activities, maintaining a professional demeanor to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and asset protection.

The role includes handling POS transactions, safeguarding cash and goods, ensuring proper merchandise display, performing routine cleaning, and assisting with donations. Team collaboration and flexible hours support the mission-driven store environment.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 months of related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure maximum safety, security, and protection of customers and company assets.
• Perform Counterpoint Point of Sale functions and transactions; ensure safe and accurate handling of all cash drawer funds, media, and Goodwill property; accountable for overages and shortages.
• Ensure all merchandise is displayed/stocked in its proper department and in accordance with merchandising procedures; perform housekeeping duties including cleaning and recovery of sales floor, dressing rooms, and production/processing areas.
• Assist in production areas including textiles, WEB and ASH; assist in accepting donations.
• Follow company policy and procedures per Employee Handbook and SOPs; promote maximum customer satisfaction by working with consumers, community groups, and coworkers to support the company mission.
