Job summary

Five Below is hiring at a fast-paced, guest-focused store in Alabama. You’ll oversee daily operations, train crew, and maintain outstanding customer service as a Manager on Duty when needed.

Expect responsibilities for opening/closing, cash handling, and staff coaching, with a focus on sales growth and operational efficiency. This is an hourly position with the potential for development within the team.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick shelf placement.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations and staff management.
• Manages opening/closing of the store, cash handling, and security procedures.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and performance.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising and World Recovery.
• Performs general store maintenance including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
