Job summary

Five Below in Austin, TX, is seeking an energetic Manager on Duty to oversee daily store operations and guest service. You will train crew, supervise associates, and help drive sales while controlling expenses and maintaining store standards.

This is an hourly position offering growth opportunities within a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask under pressure.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and ensures fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure high-quality customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep floor ready for customers.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations and staff issues.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, set alarms, and prepare for the day.
