Rack Room Shoes is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily store operations and drive sales performance. You will supervise staff, train associates, and ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining a superior customer experience.

In this role you will oversee POS procedures, inventory controls, merchandising standards and payroll-related tasks. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to excel in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Provide leadership and training to staff and assist Store Manager.
• Maintain excellent customer shopping experience and service standards.
• Handle POS transactions, sales, discounts and refunds per policy.
• Oversee inventory control, price changes, markdowns and physical inventory.
• Lead merchandising, housekeeping and promotional signage to standard.
