Responsibilities

• The assistant manager assists the Store Manager in managing day-to-day store operations and ensures compliance with company policies.
• Provides leadership, guidance and training to staff; handles operations in Store Manager's absence.
• Maintain safe environment for employees and customers; focus on service and sales objectives.
• Manage POS transactions, discounts, refunds, loyalty, and opening/closing procedures.
• Oversee inventory control, pricing, handling damaged merchandise, and physical inventories.
• Lead merchandising, floor presentation, promotions, and housekeeping to standards.
• Monitor payroll, scheduling, time/attendance, and payroll budget compliance.
• Develop and train direct reports and ensure adherence to policies and training tools.
• Support loss prevention efforts and protect company assets.
