Job summary

Five Below is seeking a customer-focused leader for an hourly store role in Denver. The position requires guiding crew, ensuring top-notch service, and assisting with stock, merchandising, and daily operations.

You will act as Manager on Duty when needed and support training while driving sales and controlling expenses. Applicants should have at least a high school diploma, with college experience preferred and a minimum of 1 year in management.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are WOWing the customer through personal contact with customers and trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure they perform duties effectively with excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and issues.
• Manage opening/closing of the store, including cash handling, doors, alarms, and daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance like cleaning, stock room upkeep, and waste removal.
