Job summary

Five Below in Colorado is seeking a store leadership professional to oversee daily activities of store associates, train crew on the BEST customer service experience, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout.

You will supervise receiving and stocking, act as Manager on Duty, open or close the store, manage cash, schedule associates, and partner with the leadership team to drive sales and maintain clean, organized stock rooms.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.

• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and provides a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience to ensure fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates to ensure effective duties and service.
• Assists with receiving and stocking to place items quickly on the floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Manages opening/closing, including securing cash, doors, alarms, and smooth daily operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and service.
• Partners with store leadership in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance—cleaning, sweeping, restrooms, and stock room upkeep.
