Job summary

Five Below is seeking a store leadership team member to ensure a WOW customer experience through personal interaction and efficient checkout. You will help supervise daily store activities, train associates, and support onboarding while maintaining stock and merchandising standards.

The role emphasizes managing operations, assisting with opening and closing, protecting cash, and driving sales in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Strong communication and multi-tasking are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wowe customers with personal contact and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure strong customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking and stocking to keep shelves ready.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed and handle store operations.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, set alarms and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery processes.
• Perform store upkeep and maintenance including cleaning and stock room management.
